The 2010 Riesling is made from Riesling grapes sourced from several vineyards in Southern Tasmania, specifically the Coal River and Derwent Valleys. It is a refreshing, approachable and balanced wine. A fragrant citrus nose precedes a delicate, slightly sweet foretaste. The mid-palate is balanced and smooth, leading to a subtle, dry and crisp finish. Enjoy with seafood or spicy dishes…or just with friends on a warm summer afternoon. Best appreciated a few minutes out of the fridge. This wine is available now and is very popular, especially after winning a trophy at the 2010 Canberra International Riesling Challenge and ‘Best Riesling from Tasmania’ at the same event. The gold medal wine was also judged to be in the top 10 Rieslings at the Challenge.
